Quick, Easy baby crotchet headband
I love to crochet, but really don't have the patience to crochet anything that takes days to finish.
I seen these cute headbands and knew I could make it a quick easy project even for beginners.
In less-than 30 min I had this finished. Quick results are my favorite of any project.
Ch = Chain
hdc = half double crochet
ss = slip stitch
What I used:
Size 8/H 5mm hook
Spare yarn
Large button
Yarn needle
Start with chain of 48.
Ch 1 turn hdc to end (48)
Join ends together with a ss. To form a ring.
Working in rounds *Ch 1, hdc (48) joining together with ss at end of round.*
Simply repeat from * to * next 7 rounds.
End with ss tying off (leave extra length to use below)
Pinch together top to bottom. Use extra length and yarn needle to tightly sew the pinched area together. Tie off. Weave excess yarn into headband.
Using yarn and yarn needle sew button over the pinched area.
I made this one using a hdc stitch throughout. For me it's one of the faster stitches.
But you can use any stitch you like, try different stitches for a different look (if doing dc any ch 1 switch to chain 2, tc to ch 3). Also, add or take away rounds to get your desired width.
